Course Aim:
To enhance drivers’ knowledge / skills for driving safely, Emergency Vehicle Ambulance within the Sultanate of Oman .
Course Content:
- To understand the principles of mind driving.
- To understand the various handling characteristics of a fire tender.
- To understand how poor driver attitude and behavior can lead to poor decision making.
- To understand the five phases of the system of vehicle control and commentary driving.
- To understand the elements of emergency response driving including red mist.
- To understanding the how to use navigation and manage high stress situations.
Who Should Attend?
All operators and contractor personnel required to drive Emergency Vehicle Fire Tender in the performance of their work.
Pre- Requisites
- Valid Royal Oman police License
- Minimum age 26
- 5 years light vehicle driving experience
- Completed Graded Road
- HSE Passport or HSE induction certificate or HSE Orientation.
- AHA Heart Saver First Aid, CPR & AED

Underpinning knowledge Observation, Questions, Demonstration, Simulation, and Practical.
