Course aims to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills to enable them to erect, alter and dismantle basic scaffolding structures of more complex nature than those undertaken in level 2 course. These structures will be formed in traditional tube and fitting and common system scaffold types. On completion of their training OSTS level 3 scaffolders are deemed competent to work unsupervised on scaffold structures covered in OSTS level 1, 2 and 3 courses, they are able to work on more complex scaffold structures as part of a team, however they must be under the direct supervision of a qualified scaffolder at all times.
